One of the goals of our strategic plan was to address the lack of coordination and quality of our communication and outreach materials. We had a nascent effort under way and needed more sophistication to improve our outreach. Deb helped us figure out what our priorities were and where it was worth making an investment. She showed us how to use our limited resources in a way that has really paid off for us in engaging more people in the work we do.

Deb worked on our communications strategy, language, and message. One of the key things she helped us with was clarifying in our own minds what we do and how to talk about it. After that, the tools and resources we developed flowed a lot more easily.

She helped us set a much higher standard for our presentation materials, and for how we educate people about our mission. She uses extremely clear language and a clear approach. The quality of her writing is very high. The bottom line is that she took us to a new level.

One of the things that I appreciate most is that Deb took the time to really understand ISC, the people who work here, and the needs that we have. She's a good listener and her work reflects that. It has filtered throughout ISC and our five international offices.

Looking back on the work she did for us, I would say it was one of the best things we ever did. I would recommend her highly.
